Hello. I just picked up one of these Butler 200K torches today. I'm looking forward to restoring it and as I'm pretty new to restorations, I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks you could share that would help. One of my big questions is does this torch run on gasoline or Kerosene? I have seen it listed as both.

Hi dreamweaver. Not sure if ok to share a link on here, but by coincidence I recently came across a nice vid about a blowtorch resto. This showed step by step how they brought it back to the original glory.
The very first thing they did, and this is what I do with any restauration project myself, is to unscrew everything possible. You can then concentrate on the individual part and used material as required.
Hope this helps for a start. Cheers, Oli-
