Hi Erwin, I can paint your items but I am not a professional, and it could work out expensive with the shipping to the UK and back, and the cost could come to more than the item is worth.
But I would be more than happy to help you, if the cost and time is not a problem

Hallo Erwin and Peer, danke fur your kind complements.
I used normal car paint, as I can not speak German I tried to explain the paint so every one could understand.
I forgot what colour I used, it was a ford metallic gold, metalic paint is finished with a clear lacquer / clear coat.
What I did I applied the 3 coats of primmer, in one day and let it dry over night, to cure it I put it in the oven at 75 degrees Celsius for a hour, then applied the 3 coats of metallic gold allowing about 30 mins between coats, let it al so dry over night and then put it in the oven at 75 degrees for a hour, and then did the same with the clear coat.
This cures the paint so if any fuel spills on the new paint work it will not spoil it -
Hi forum, here is my latest addition and restoration, of a American Turner gasoline/benzine lotlampen.
This lotlampen has a steel tank, so the inside was treated with a epoxy fuel tank sealer called por15, even though the inside of the tank was in perfect condition with no rust, i treated the inside of the tank with the por15 so it will prevent rust forming in the future. The out side of the tank has been repainted, i applied 3 coats of primmer about 3 coats of metallic gold paint and 2 coats of clear coat.
I have replaced all the seals, i made a new lead washer for the filler cap and for the pump, the non return valve pip was replaced with a new Viton pip, as the old one had turned hard and would not make a seal, a new leather pump cup was fitted and new graphite packing around the regulator gland.
The burner has been cleaned and decoked of carbon, and a new wick fitted.

Hi Kiki und Karli many thanks for your kind complements, I do like the Swedish models, but it is not the reason why I have a lot of Swedish and British models, its is just that they are so common here about 90% or more
-

Hi Peer Most stoves blowtorches made by Primus from 1911 were date stamped, from 1911 -1955 were stamped with a letter 1911 was letter A, when the system reached Z it all started again AB AC etc up till 1955,from 1955_1963 it changed to a 6 digit date code, the last two numbers in the code was the date for example 142555 was the year 1955 from 1963 the year of manufacture was just stamped on the box carton.
On this lotlampen/blowtorch the letter S is stamped on the tank which means 1928,hear are 2 links that will help with the date

The link above shows the style of lotlampen that was made during the era

Hi Peer danke for your kind complements with the steel regulator wheel/knob I think it was manufactured in the 1920's,i will have a look tomorrow as I have put it in my hooby hole/shed.
Most PRIMUS apparatus were date stamped by letter code, I am sure this lamp has been date stamped and I have looked it up -
Hi Eugen you are 100% correct with the kopper i took this picture with my camera as soon as i lit it i also set up my camcorder and filmed it for you tube, towards the end of the film it started to loose some of the green colour and get more blue,it needs a good 10 mins or more and the flame will turn perfect blue
-
Hi forum here are a few pictures of my PRIMUS 862 benzene blowtorch, ich finished restoration on this lotlampen a little while ago and today I fired it up for the first time, with some coleman fuel I bought.
It fired up brilliantly, and I ran it for just over a minute I could feel the heat it was generating as I was filming it and taking the pictures, i could have given it a bit more power but decided not to indoors.
As all ways forum my apologies for not speaking Deutsch and danke allowing the post in English -
Hi Kiki und Karli thank you very much for your complements, i am sure this style with the handle combined with the pump were made in the 60's in the last few years Primus made kerosene blowtorches
-
Hallo forum today I have just finished restoring a Primus 632 kerosene petroleum lotlampen, here is another lotlampen I have had in my collection since I started collecting over 20 years ago.
When I first started collecting over 20 years ago, most of my torches were just cleaned and polished and not fully restored to working use, I have been restoring those to a full working use.
This lotlampen was made I believe in 1962,as on the filler collar there is some numbers stamped on it and the last two digits is 62,which means 1962 this is the system Primus used to date there items after 1955,before 1955 it was a letter indicating the year of manufacture, there is a pic of the filler collar with the date stamped on it.
I have all ready uploaded it on you tube if anyone would like to see it working,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9oaw5hE5wA
