Hi, very nice and top condition. And with all spare parts and accessories. Dit you know that here in Germany the lamp is called howler monkey
CU Bernd -
Hmmm?..I did not know that. Why is it called that?

Hmmm?..I did not know that. Why is it called that?
... because of its silent way of working ...

Yes, in comparison to other military lanterns such as the British Bialaddin 305 sounds the Milspec like a launching jet
CU Bernd -
Oh I get it, ...it is very noisy.

Nice lantern and in nearly unused condition?!
Great.Gruß

Yes even though this thread/post is old, still I had to post about it due to fact, on its excellent condition, just excellent!
Looks like it came straight from the manufacturers plant and then had been stored in a secure place and forgotten.
That Mil-Spec is in excellent fine and such prestine condition at that. I wish I could come across one in that same condition.I have two (2) of those exact type of Mil-Spec’s in my collection, with the four (4) quadrant glass panels. Those Mil-Spec’s were made by three or four different manfucturers for the U.S. military, all basically using the same model-style design lantern, with the exception of the glass globe and slight difference in frame but again, still the same.
Thanks for posting and sharing.
