• Hi,
Had a conference out of town today in Tel-aviv I always take that rare chance and hop to the big flee market nearby
There were a lot of things there more lanterns then I could afford but at least picked up two - this is the second - a petromax 833 made in Argentina
payed way to much for it but from my memory there was something with the number and unless updated the PLC marked it as table lamp
all parts are original except the inner hood and looks like the pump and pump bore were replaced ,might replace it back with one from a petromax but the solder work looks rather good
the hood suffered a lot of damaged but I might selvage the upper part as it say Argentina on it
and the fount stamp say "registrada industria argentina" as on the name plate
how common are these? an when were they made and bu whom?
    pics all marked parts
