I have a question. Which goes to the regulating crew, on the U-pipe to mixer. How is it supposed to be "sitting"? Can it actually be regulated?

with this screw you can actually slightly change the kerosene/air mixture.
if the upper cup sits in it´s correct position, you can adjust the mixture while the lamp is working. -

I was just trying it out. Didn't go bad and not good either. The net would only burn white at the bottom, but flames just went around the net. But it didnt turn white, and that was not because it wasn't to hot. Because it was. burning hot.. Could that have something to do with the regulating screw thing?
Also the pump worked a little slow.. But i think that is to be fixed with working a litlle with the pump membrane.
