Guten tag,
Just wanted to post pictures of this lamp.
I was hoping it was sold copper but I am afraid it was only copper flashed
Unfortunately missing the handle and has a broken glass.

Hello Paul,
this lantern is cooper flashed and not massive copper.
If you get it just take a small magnet and test it.
Your lantern was produced during the 1950ties but not earlier
than 1953.
Kind regards
Jörg
Hello Jörg,
Yes indeed it is only copper flashed. I had tried the magnet test earlier.
I am curious about what time period the Superflam was in use - was it only in the fifties ?
Again - thanks for the information.
Best Regards,
Paul
BTW: This lantern is model "175", not "176"...
The 8 bigger holes in the chimney dated the lantern after 1955 (see: https://sirkosdrive.jimdofree.…nd+FH175.jpg?t=1578827412 ) and this item has lever gaps both right and left in the frame tubes = newer (newest?) model.
Greets,
Micha.
Hello Micha,
Thanks for pointing out my mistake and also for the information on dating the lamp.
Best regards,
Paul
