Can you help to find model (and date) of this this Petromax ?

Hi All, I recently purchased this lamp in the pictures in pretty bad conditions and I wanted to try restoring it. The tag is quite not readable and I would appreciate your help to identify model and year. Reading in different forums my understanding is that:

• There is a spoon pre heater ==> should be after 1939
• the logo contains a E inside the G ==> should be before 1943
• I can read something similar to 828 in the old tag, possible?

Any other topic that could help the identification?

Don't know if this can help, but the heater is positioned more "internal" than the other Patromax rapid that I have;

Thanks Matthias, I tried cleaning it gently with soap and water but I can't find anything else (to be honest my eyes even don't see the "8" :-)....

But it's not important! You helped me a lot to find the model and I know is around 1939/1940 !

I will now spend some time to repare it and I will post a picture when (and if...) it works.

(I post a picture that I took after the cleaning just in case, even if I can't see any difference...)

I finally cleaned it much better and I can see the numbers you can check in the attached picture, it seems "11 9", does it mean November 1939?

Thanks All for your help! I could remount the lamp and it works I attach a couple of pictures. It's always impressing to me how after 80 years all parts still work without needing any replacement (excepting gasket and washer of course...)

Just a last question: do you know why the tank often loses its chrome while the other components keep it quite as new? Is it just because people consumes chrome handling with their hands? Or is it the type of metal?
