General Question

    Just for information.
    Has anyone come up with a better method of securing Mantles within the Lamp ??
    The frail piece of string seems so inadequate and fiddleing to tie.
    The Mantle seldom sits level and leans to one side or the other.
    Just thought I'd ask the question !!

    i think it is adequate, but if you are looking for a spring solution try a look for the colman northstar ;)

    Or the Tilley with a 164H Happy mantle in place of the 164X tie type.
