Panzer Sturmtrotz Fenix - Replacement glass needed

  • Last summer I fetched this beautiful lamp from a swedish flea market.
Previous owner said she found it in an old shed. I like it, burns nice, and
the bars around the glass is just perfect wilderness (?). :applaudit:

But previous user has cracked the glass badly.

One part is missing, and there are cracks from top to bottom.
Heat when using lamp causes glass to crack more - not using.

My checks says it's a Panzer Sturmtrotz "Fenix" (?), sign on tank
reads "FENIX Nº1 C & J Bergman Co STOCKHOLM". Tank bottom
reads "ORIGINAL PANZER LANTERNE". Glass has "Panzer" written
    below a shield.

I need replacement glass, where do I get it?

Wick would also be appreciated, as current was found in the tank
    and could be better.

I have been thinking about replacing glass with Dietz #852
Fitzall Globe, or Feuerhand 451/453, but the dietz doesn't
seem to fit exactly, and did not found any Feuerhand-glasses.

    Heeelp! :muede:

  • Thanks.

I removed the glass from the lamp, now I don't dare to
    put it back.

    Height: 167mm

    Top diameter: 70mm
(Top ring is adjustable about 1-2 mm maybe if bending evily,
but already goes down to 67mm without glass attached...)

Bottom diameter: 84mm (max 86mm, burner hole is 33mm).
(Side to side, including glass thickness)

    Bottom glass thickness: 2-3mm.
    Top glass thickness: 4mm.
Glass thickest part is 120mm(?) in diameter.

Maximum possible glass width goes from 140mm (bottom) to
    110mm (top) in glass width.

Oh, lamp have no text saying "Sturmtrotz", I just guessed this.
