I bought it. But it's still in the canister, waiting for usage.
It's transparent, viscosity is ok, and no smell at all.
So I guess: thumb up.

It's perfect! It has a bit of an eye-stinging smell, yet it burns odor-free in wick lanterns and pressure lamps.
It's quite affordable and works perfect.

I agree with everything said above plus that I use it in several Blue Flame heaters (Aladdin and POD) with no problems, it only smells for a few minutes when used in a Well Straler right after lighting it or when extinguishing the heater but this belongs to the principle of the heater, every lamp oil smells in this heater.

I use Petro and Bio-Ethanol from this manufactor, both is very fine stuff, there is no smell from the ethanol at indoor-use for hours.

Hi franzpa,
I hope you don't use the bioethanol in an oil lamp. That is very dangerous!
In January happend a huge explosion with many people severly injured
because a not so clever guy used ethanol/spirit in oil lamps.
(there is a thread in this forum about the incident)
