  • Hi Sander, first of all, :welcome:

hmm, there are several possibilities, are you sure about the flame, coming from the carbureator?

Often you have a so called "corona", a flame-ring around the ceramic-burner in the first minutes of enlightening the lamp. If it stays longer and with a yellowish light, the mixture is too fat - mixing-pipe has to be placed higher in that case for more air.

Other possibilities could be a hole in the mantle, where a flame would shoot out, or a crac in the ceramicburner, it would look the same.

A non proper soldered carbureator appears not that often, but could be, it happened already.

I hope, this will help, maybe you can take a picture in detail of your problem?

Best regards and god luck, Björn :done:

  • hello bjorn

the problem is solved by pelam
it was indeed the upper carburator
a tiny little hole in it , i tested the old part @my work
now the next problem , the fine tuning of the lamp
it's not burning properly ! now its a flame or halo round the mantel
, the instructions tell my that the air adjust screw it's not correct tuned
but the 150 got that not , only the 250 350 and 500 , so i am adjusting and adjusting but not the right flame
now i read here that maybe an other mantel would help ?
