I’m getting crazy with this problem…
I can use my CP500 with the rapid preheater but as I try to switch it off leaving the pressure, it works 2 or 3 times and, after that, petrol starts coming out from the nipple event if I close the wheel.
Anytime I had the problem, I uncounted the carburetor group and found that the plastic ring washer fitting into the valve washer #193 was partially out of its place. I put it inside (or even change entire #193 and the associated spring and #90)) I mounted it back and the lamp worked correctly back 2 or 3 times and I have the same problem again and again….
What’s wrong? Why closing the wheel when the lamp is hot generate move thering washer out of its place???
Of course I can still light the lamp with alcohol but I really would like understanding…
BTW: I use kerosene (“Petrole” in French)
Any idea?
Thanks,
Carlo
